A Custom Partial Balayage Session applies hand-painted balayage, foilyage, and babylights only where you need them most — typically around the crown and face. Stylists use selective placement and strategic lightening to create maximum lift and brightness in those zones, then tone and blend to ensure the transition reads natural and flattering from every angle.
Processing times and layering depend on your starting level and desired lift; the service includes shampooing, conditioning and toning as needed, plus a professional style at the end. Expect thoughtful placement rather than full-head saturation: the goal is targeted brightness and dimension that enhances your features without a full-head commitment.
Consultation and preparation process
Every session begins with a focused consultation: we review your color history, assess hair condition, and look at photos to set realistic goals. For major changes or corrective work, your stylist may recommend multiple appointments. Open communication during the consult helps the team create a plan that prioritizes hair health while delivering the face- and crown-focused lift you want.
Appointments are planned to allow time for paint, processing, toner, and finish work; sessions are scheduled for 180 MINUTES to accommodate variation. Maintenance and expected longevity
Partial balayage is intentionally low-maintenance compared with full-head highlights because the painted placement allows softer regrowth lines. Most clients return for a refresh every 3–4 months to maintain brightness and tone.
